Ahmadiyya International Martial Arts Association

Empowering Nigerian youth through discipline, respect, and excellence in martial arts

About AIMAAN

Building Character Through Martial Arts

The Ahmadiyya International Martial Art Association of Nigeria (AIMAAN) was established in 1988 under the directive of Hazrat Khalifatul Masih IV (r.a.) and the leadership of Prof. Mashood Adenrele Fashola, the then National Qa'id (later Sadr) of Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya Nigeria (MKAN). AIMAAN was founded to empower Ahmadi Muslims through self-defense training, physical fitness, and community engagement, with a focus on Taekwondo. It began as a grassroots initiative under the guidance of Grandmaster Nasir O. Yusuf (GHOST), a pioneer in Taekwondo in Nigeria. Over the years, AIMAAN has grown into a prominent force in Nigeria's martial arts landscape, producing thousands of practitioners, champions, and instructors. It is the largest Taekwondo association in Nigeria, with a strong presence across the country and internationally.
